Many union and labor plans include acupuncture benefits too — if you're a teacher, first responder, tradesperson, or public employee, your plan may cover treatment.

During your consultation, we'll discuss your specific concerns and whether acupuncture and Chinese medicine are a good fit.

Your first visit begins with a thorough consultation and examination — we'll talk through your health history, your concerns, your lifestyle, and your goals. From there we'll discuss what we found and, when appropriate, begin treatment. Plan for your first appointment to run a little longer than follow-up visits.

It depends on your condition and goals. Some people feel relief after just a few sessions, while chronic or long-standing concerns may benefit from a longer course of care. After your initial examination, we'll recommend a personalized treatment plan and adjust it as you progress.

When performed by a licensed acupuncturist, acupuncture has an excellent safety record. We use only single-use, sterile, disposable needles, and our practitioners are fully licensed and credentialed. When appropriate, we also coordinate with your physician to keep your care safe and well-rounded.
